Hartelstein Residence

Full 2nd story addition, ground level-addition and renovation of a free-standing modern bungalow.

The design uses elements and dimensions found in the original 1960s home, while adding Western Red Cedar plank siding to the mix as a second story wood-frame addition above the existing brick home.

New spaces include an enlarged kitchen and adjacent pantry, a new dining room with large sliding glass doors to match the existing ones in the living room, and an office, guest room, WC, bathroom and terrace on the new second floor.
